Adding Succulents to Your Outdoor Landscape

Succulents make an awesome statement to any indoor or outdoor space. Knowing the right spot to plant them and how to properly care for them is what has been challenging for most.

When choosing the perfect spot to plant your succulents, be sure to choose a spot that receives a lot of sunlight. Next, check the soil in that location to make sure it receives proper water drainage. After planting the succulents, top the area with mulch, bark, or maybe even pebbles to seal the moisture in while helping to prevent weeding from taking place.

Succulents have the ability to withstand dry cycles however, regular watering is required during growing season. Be sure to water the plants from the root and keep the leaves dry to avoid rotting.
